"A win like this last season, I don't think we had a lot of. It's good to see", said Ralph Hasenhüttl, after seeing Saints seal an 'ugly but effective' 2-1 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion.
It was the Club's first 'Monday night win' in the Premier League since 2002, when a late strike from James Beattie secured a 1-0 triumph at West Ham United.
In a match that saw fans returning to the Amex Stadium for the first time in nine months or so, goals from Jannik Vestergaard and Danny Ings secured an excellent 'come from behind' 3 points.
The win moved Saints up to fifth in the Premier League - with 20 points now secured from the opening eleven matches.
