Saints secured their place in the FA Cup fourth round with a 2-0 win over Shrewsbury Town.
While there were a couple of worrying moments, on the whole Ralph Hasenhüttl's side managed the 90 minutes in a very professional manner.
8 academy graduates appeared for Saints during the night, including Caleb Watts, Kgaogelo Chauke, Dan N'Lundulu and Alex Jankewitz.
The win, thanks to goals from N'Lundulu and James Ward-Prowse, set up a meeting with Arsenal this coming Saturday.
