Saints new Ghanaian defender, Mohammad Salisu, has finally joined up with the rest of the first team squad.
Having spent a couple of weeks independently working on his fitness, Salisu is now stepping things up at Staplewood.
While Saints fans will be pleased to see their new signing finally on the training pitch, its not expected that he'll be ready to feature in competitive Premier League action until at least early October (as Martin Semmens told Total Saints Podcast in Episode 127 )

When he finally makes his Saints debut, Mohammad Salisu will become the 26th Ghanaian footballer to play in the Premier League.
At time of writing, the Ghanaian Premier League 'record holders' are as follows:
Most Appearances - Michael Essien - 168
Most Goals - Tony Yeboah - 24
Most Assists - Michael Essien - 10
Other Ghanaian's to feature in England's top division include Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, Christian Atsu, Asamoah Gyan and Nii Lamptey - who was the first representative from that nation (having played for Aston Villa in 1994).
